Forget Giuliani

It's Time to Forget Rudy Giuliani

Many people think of Rudolph Giuliani as a hero and the man who turned New York City around. In reality, he's neither.

He had countless personal and political scandals. There was a significant increase in police brutality cases. His tactics were nasty. By September 10, 2001, New Yorkers had had enough. Giuliani was gliding toward oblivion.

Then 9/11 happened. Crises like that drive people toward authoritarian leaders. Toward someone who knows how to use the media, takes charge, tells them what to think and what to do. Toward Rudy.

Don't fall for it. Take a look at who Rudy Giuliani really is.

Rudy couldn't cut it as a national candidate in the 2008 Presidential race. Now he's thinking about running for Governor of New York in the 2010 campaign. I say "Thanks, but no thanks."
